Terms and conditions
The terms on which you may use this website and on which 222 Security Services provides its services.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
These terms apply to your use of 222securityservices.com. By using this website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by 222 Security Services Ltd. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean 222 Security Services Ltd, and “you” means the person using this site or engaging our services.
2. Using this website
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use. You must not use this site in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to transmit malicious code or unsolicited advertising.
We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of this site without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted.
3. Information on this site is not an offer
The descriptions of our services on this site are provided for general information. They are not an offer to contract, and nothing on this site constitutes professional advice you should act on without speaking to us about your own circumstances.
We take care to make the content of this site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.
4. Quotations, proposals and the contract between us
Any security we provide for you is governed by a separate written quotation or contract. That document sets out the specific terms of your assignment, including:
- the site, the posts, the hours and the duties covered;
- the rate, and whether any deposit is payable before cover begins;
- the payment schedule and invoice terms;
- the notice period for cancelling or varying cover;
- the licence category required for the role;
- cancellation and refund terms for that assignment.
A contract is formed when you accept that quotation in writing. Where the quotation and these general terms differ, the quotation takes precedence. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is based on the site and requirements described to us at the time; if those change, we will tell you before providing additional cover and agree any change to the rate in writing first.
5. Your responsibilities
Security depends on things only you can provide. You agree to give us, in good time, safe access to the site, accurate information about its risks and hazards, the keys, codes and contacts the assignment requires, and approval of the written assignment instruction. Where cover is delayed because those are outstanding, the start date moves accordingly.
Site conditions and welfare. You are responsible for the premises themselves being safe and lawful to occupy, and for providing officers with reasonable welfare facilities where the site and the shift length require them. If a site is not safe to attend, we will tell you rather than send someone into it.
You confirm that you are entitled to instruct security at the premises, and that any procedure you ask us to apply — searching, refusing entry, removing a person, using CCTV — is lawful, is properly signed where the law requires it, and is one you are entitled to operate. We will not carry out an instruction we believe to be unlawful, and we will say so at the time rather than afterwards.
6. Intellectual property
This website. The content, design and code of 222securityservices.com belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or reuse them without our permission.
Reports and records. Shift logs, incident reports and callout records produced for your assignment are provided to you for your own use, including for insurance and for reporting a matter to the police. We keep our own copy for the period set out in our privacy policy.
Your material. Anything you supply — site plans, access codes, procedures — remains yours, and is treated as confidential. You grant us the licence we need to use it for the purpose of providing the service.
7. Costs you pay directly
Our rates cover the officers and the supervision, reporting and procedures around them. Anything the site itself needs — temporary accommodation or gatehouses, lighting, camera systems, fencing, hoarding, alarm equipment and its maintenance — is supplied and paid for by you directly, and we are happy to work alongside whichever provider you appoint.
We add no margin or handling charge to those costs, and we will not purchase anything of this kind on your behalf without agreeing it with you first and telling you what it costs.
8. Licensing, and what security can and cannot promise
Officers deployed on licensable activity hold a valid SIA licence for that activity, and we will provide the details on request. SIA licences are issued to individuals rather than to companies; any company-level credential is a separate accreditation, and we state only accreditations we actually hold.
Security reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and no security provider can guarantee that no incident, loss or damage will occur. We provide the cover set out in your written quotation, to the procedures agreed with you. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of a particular outcome, response time, or that premises will be free from loss, and our service is not a substitute for your own insurance.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from our services. Our total liability in connection with an assignment is limited to the fees paid to us for that assignment.
These terms do not affect the statutory rights of a consumer. If you are engaging us as a consumer rather than in the course of a business, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to them.
10. Links to other websites
Where this site links to a website we do not control, that link is provided for information only. We are not responsible for the content of those sites or for anything that happens on them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the date of your visit is the version that applies, and the date it was last revised is shown at the top of the page. Changes do not affect a contract already formed under a written quotation.
12. Contacting us
If you have a question about these terms, please email us at info@222securityservices.com or use the contact form. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
